Bluegrass, Community, and a Cause: 7 Mile Bluegrass Festival Returns to Circleville
The sounds of fiddles, banjos, and heartfelt harmony will once again fill the air as the 7 Mile Bluegrass Festival returns to the Pickaway Agriculture & Event Center this July. Back for its second year at the Pickaway Agriculture & Event Center, this can’t-miss summer weekend blends world-class bluegrass, hometown hospitality, and a heartfelt mission to support veterans in need.
From its humble beginnings as a grassroots fundraiser, the festival has grown into a beloved gathering for bluegrass fans across the region. It’s more than a music event—it’s a place where stories are shared, toes tap in time with banjos, and giving back is part of the experience.
This year’s festival features an incredible lineup of more than 20 acts, including fan favorites like:
- Lonesome River Band
- Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road
- The Little Roy & Lizzy Show
- Larry Efaw & The Bluegrass Mountaineers
- 7 Mile Bluegrass Band (the festival’s headliner)
Music kicks off with a jam session on Wednesday evening and continues nonstop Thursday through Saturday.
Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, settle in with some festival food, and enjoy the sights and sounds of this uniquely welcoming event. Admission is simple—just bring a donation of 6 or more nonperishable food or personal care items to help Veterans in Transition and the Chillicothe VA.
Whether you’re dancing near the stage, swapping stories with campers, or just soaking up the summer sky, the 7 Mile Bluegrass Festival offers the kind of experience that makes you want to stay a little longer
Camping is available on-site with electric and water hookups (July 24–28). For those who prefer a hotel stay, Circleville offers convenient lodging just minutes from the event grounds.
The Pickaway County Visitors Bureau is proud to support the festival as a promotional partner. Learn more about local accommodations, dining, and summer events at Pickaway.com.
