This creative writing program is geared for 3rd-6th graders. Participants will brainstorm, write, and draw their own monster in their very own Monster Building Handbook, provided by a grant through the Cosmic Writers by the Tigris Foundation. In three sessions, writers will put their monsters through various scenarios, culminating with a face-off against a monster hunter! Attendance at all three sessions is recommended, but writers can complete activities in the book on their own if they miss a session. Registration required.
This workshop will encourage individuals to explore their creativity and experience the writing process among fellow writers. The instructor will focus on the craft of writing by covering different techniques, styles, and a range of writers. This will be a supportive and collaborative writing community for those who want to learn and explore more about writing. Rachel Townsend, PCL Library Assistant, will teach the workshop series, which is held the 1st Friday of the month at 10:30am.

In the program, attendees will learn what exactly cryptocurrency is, and how it works as a currency. We will also talk about how to buy and sell cryptocurrency (I will mainly be talking Bitcoin here). Finally, we will talk about the pros and cons of using cryptocurrency and ways we can keep our money safe and out of the hands of scammers. Presented by OSU Extension Office of Pickaway County.
Put together your team of experts and join us for an evening of Live Team Trivia at the Thirsty Parrot, 706 S. Washington St., Circleville. On the 1st Tuesday of every month, take a crack at three rounds of general trivia questions from 6PM to 8PM while enjoying food and beverages, and see if your team has what it takes to win a prize! The Thirsty Parrot will open at 5PM for food and drink orders. The kitchen closes around 7PM. Participants are responsible for the purchase of their own food and drinks.
