Kids ages 9 to 11 can build kitchen confidence at the Junior Chef Series, a free hands-on food preparation program presented by OSU Extension of Pickaway County at the Pickaway County Library in Circleville. Sessions cover food and kitchen safety, nutrition basics, and kid-friendly recipes, and a parent or guardian must stay for the full class. Classes run July 8, 15, and 22; attending all three is not required. Advance registration is required and can be completed online or by calling 740-477-1644. When registering, include your child’s name and age along with the name of the adult attending.
