Relax, sip, shop, and stroll through downtown Circleville during designated DORA hours. Visitors ages 21 and older may purchase an alcoholic beverage from a participating liquor establishment and enjoy it within the approved DORA boundaries.
Circleville DORA is a collaborative effort between the City of Circleville, Uptown Circleville, and the Pickaway County Visitors Bureau that supports a vibrant and welcoming downtown experience.
What is DORA?
DORA stands for Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area. During approved hours, guests may enjoy a permitted beverage in an official DORA cup while exploring participating areas of downtown Circleville.
DORA encourages visitors to enjoy local restaurants, shops, events, and downtown experiences while supporting a walkable community atmosphere.
Quick Reminders
- Guests must be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.
- Beverages must be served in an official DORA cup.
- DORA cups may not be reused.
- No cans, glass bottles, or outside alcohol are permitted.
- Alcohol must remain inside the posted DORA boundaries.

DORA Guidelines
White Sticker
Participating liquor establishments display a white DORA sticker. These businesses may sell approved alcoholic beverages in official DORA cups.
Blue Sticker
Businesses displaying a blue DORA sticker allow guests to enter with a permitted beverage in an official DORA cup.
Red Sticker
Businesses displaying a red DORA sticker do not allow alcoholic beverages inside. Please respect each business’s participation choice.
