Pickaway Pour: A Bourbon Affair 2024

Pickaway County, OH – Get ready for an exceptional evening of bourbon sophistication at the “Pickaway Pour: A Bourbon Affair” on Saturday, March 9th at the Deer Creek State Park Lodge. This exclusive event, featuring the expertise of Tim Knittel, a distinguished Kentucky Bourbon Industry Insider, promises a unique celebration of bourbon culture and flavor.

Guests will be treated to an immersive evening featuring a 4 course dinner paired with high quality bourbons and hand-crafted cocktails. The interactive event features more than 8 distilleries including Central Ohio favorites M & O Spirits and Watershed Distillery, which promises to be as smooth and full-bodied as the bourbons you’ll savor. The bourbon journey continues with selections from top Kentucky distilleries, ensuring an unforgettable exploration of flavors and craftsmanship.

With over 13 years of experience in bourbon education and event design, Tim Knittel, the Founder of Distilled Living, brings an unparalleled understanding of the intricacies and nuances of Kentucky bourbon. His passion for sharing bourbon’s rich heritage and craftsmanship has earned him recognition as a luminary in the industry.

Feel the Fleece in Williamsport!

Williamsport, Ohio — A&R Alpaca Farm and Gift Shop, owned by Aaron and Robin Ridenour, is located at 10981 US Hwy 22, Williamsport, OH 43164. The farm opened in 2004.

“We offer a unique opportunity to interact with alpacas, chickens, rabbits, dogs and cats. Our visitors can also explore our gift shop to purchase items made from alpaca fleece. Meeting the animals that produce this incredible fleece is a great farming experience.

As a local business, we strive to support our community through initiatives such as 4-H and sponsoring sports teams. We are passionate about Pickaway County and enjoy educating people about these incredible animals.

We have a yearly event – National Alpaca Farm Days – usually the last weekend in September. During this event, you can experience alpacas up close, feel their fleece, tour the farm, view live demonstrations, and learn about raising and breeding alpacas. Additionally, our visitors can shop for alpaca products and enjoy a fun-filled day for the entire family!” said Robin Ridenour, owner.

Their gift shop sells various alpaca fleece items, including stuffed animals, hats, gloves, and socks. Alpaca wool is sustainable, hypoallergenic, and eco-friendly. It is also strong and soft. To schedule an appointment for a visit, please call 614-361-8789.
