The Pick of Ohio!

Tim Wilson, Executive Director of the Pickaway County Visitors Bureau

Our region offers unique and interesting attractions and is home of the world famous Circleville Pumpkin Show held annually the third week of October. Here you will find outstanding lodging facilities, a variety of dining choices and an array of independently-owned retail establishments offering personal service and one-of-a-kind, high quality merchandise. There are wonderful recreational facilities in our county that feature walking trails, hunting, fishing and boating opportunities. We also have a number of fine golf courses from which to choose. Plan to visit our interesting museums and historic sites. Pickaway County has a rich agricultural heritage, and throughout the county you will find farm markets selling fresh produce. Pickaway County hosts a variety of festivals and special events every year, and we now have three beautiful outdoor murals to enjoy – one in downtown Ashville and two in downtown Circleville.

We are pleased to announce the kickoff of our 2018 Coughlin Event Series with an appearance by the Columbus Symphony at the newly constructed MPAC Center at Ohio Christian University. Sunday, April 29th at 5pm, the Symphony will be performing a collection of classical hits; tickets will go on sale November 24. We would like to thank Ohio Christian UniversityCoughlin GM of Circleville, The Savings Bank and Berger Health System for making this event possible.
Tickets are $20 presale, $25 at the door.  They can be purchased at The Welcome Center or online at the link below:

Located at the entrance to historic downtown Circleville, The Welcome Center was opened in 2006. This unique facility features maps and brochures for area attractions, one of a kind gifts, displays and presentations that highlight the region. In addition, works from area artists, authors and musicians are available for sale. Free wireless Internet access is available in the lobby area.
