PICCA Annual Block Party

Join Pickaway County Community Action (PICCA) for the Annual Block Party on Thursday, July 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 469 E. Ohio Street in Circleville.

This free community event brings together more than 25 local organizations and agencies sharing information, resources, and services for families and residents. Enjoy food trucks, live music, games, cornhole, inflatable slides, a family zone, and a dunk tank.

Special activities include a Columbus Zoo and Aquarium presentation from 11 a.m. to noon featuring animal ambassadors, along with hands-on family activities and an Inspiration Station exploring the science behind cotton candy.

Featured vendors and food options include Grilled Cheese Gangsters, Frida Taco Truck, Icy Vibezz Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, Tattooed & Cold Brews, Manchester Hill Winery, Sweet Treats, and more.

Parking is available at the Clinton Street entrance.

Guests will also enjoy “Art in the Garden” presented by Pickaway County Master Gardener Volunteer Penelope LaRock, exploring the connection between gardening and artistic expression.

Whether you’re an experienced gardener or simply looking for inspiration for the season, this free community event offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate the beauty of gardens and gardening in Pickaway County.

Honor the American flag and enjoy an evening of patriotic tradition in downtown Circleville. The Pickaway Community Band will perform a special concert of patriotic favorites beginning at 5 p.m. before the annual Flag Day Observance hosted by BPO Elks Lodge #77.

The program includes a meaningful flag retirement ceremony presented by the Camp Charlotte Chapter #41 of the Sons of the American Revolution, followed by a musket salute and the playing of Taps. This free community event offers a chance to reflect on the history and symbolism of the American flag while enjoying live music and local tradition.

Experience an evening on the course during the 17th Annual Chamber Night Golf Outing hosted by the Pickaway County Chamber of Commerce on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Pickaway Country Club in Circleville.

The annual outing combines golf, networking, dinner, and a unique nighttime golf experience as teams play the final nine holes after dark using glow sticks and lighted golf balls. Participants can enjoy an evening on the course while supporting the Chamber and connecting with local businesses and community members.

Registration begins at 4 p.m. with a shotgun start at 5 p.m. Registration includes green fees, cart, dinner, and two drink tickets per participant.

The event takes place at Pickaway Country Club, one of Pickaway County’s scenic golf destinations located just outside Circleville.

Join the fun at the 16th Annual Night Golf Outing at Pickaway Country Club on Friday, August 8, 2025!
Hosted at 1399 Stoutsville Pike in Circleville, the evening begins with registration at 4:00 PM and a shotgun start at 5:00 PM.

Each registration includes green fees, a golf cart, dinner, and two drink tickets per person. The first 9 holes will be played in daylight, and the final 9 in the dark—with glow sticks and two lighted golf balls provided for each player.
