Join the Victor Samalot Duo for Celebrating the Mother Road, a live music and spoken word program honoring the legacy of historic Route 66 as America approaches the highway’s 100th anniversary.
Through stories, songs, and reflections on the people, places, and culture of the iconic “Mother Road,” this engaging performance explores a uniquely American journey that has inspired generations of travelers. The program blends music and storytelling to celebrate the spirit of adventure, community, and history that made Route 66 a symbol of the American experience.
Presented in partnership with ArtsaRound, Pickaway County Friends of the Library, the State Library of Ohio, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Young artists ages 12-18 are invited to explore creativity during the ArtsaRound Youth Summer Art Camp June 8-12 at Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Park in Circleville.
The weeklong camp features hands-on workshops led by local artists with opportunities for students to experiment with drawing, art journaling, espresso painting, pinhole photography, collage, and other creative techniques. Designed for teens interested in visual arts and creative expression, the program encourages students to explore new mediums while learning in a collaborative outdoor setting.
Camp sessions take place daily from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Starkey Pavilion located within Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Park.
ArtsaRound’s 2026 Art Camp is a pilot program made possible in part through support from the Ohio Arts Council.

Live music fills Tootles Pumpkin Inn (117 E Main Street, Circleville, OH) every Thursday in March from 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM as the Winter Acoustic Concert Series brings talented performers to the stage. Presented by ArtsaRound and Tootles, this series creates an intimate and cozy space to enjoy incredible live music in the heart of Circleville.
