Spring is arriving in Pickaway County, and the Pickaway County Park District has released its full lineup of March programs and early spring events. From guided walks and conservation workshops to birding and community cleanups, there are multiple opportunities to get outside and explore local parks this season.
Whether you’re a regular trail walker or just looking for a reason to step outside, here’s what’s happening.
March 2026 Park District Events
March 12 – Rain Barrel Workshop
Pickaway County Park District Headquarters
A hands-on workshop focused on collecting and reusing rainwater for sustainable landscaping and water conservation.
March 18 – Walk-A-Long Wednesday
Canal Park
A relaxed guided walk designed to highlight seasonal changes along the trail.
March 25 – Walk-A-Long Wednesday
Canal Park
Another opportunity to explore local trails while learning about early spring plant and wildlife activity.
March 28 – Early Wings of Spring
Canal Park
As bird migration begins, this program focuses on identifying early returning species and understanding spring bird patterns in Pickaway County.
