All About Squash
Autumn is here! Gourds and squashes are great for decorating your home for fall, but did you know they are also good foods to eat for your health? Join OSU Extension Educator, Jessica Lowe, to learn more about the health benefits of adding squash to your diet. We will also discuss the best ways to prepare spaghetti squash, acorn squash, butternut squash, and pumpkin, as well as provide you with some recipes to try at home – and have a few samples to try in class!
Summer Fruits JAM-boree
Join OSU Extension to learn a few ways to preserve fruits this growing season! We will discuss the difference between jams, jellies, marmalades, and preserves and learn more about the safest ways to enjoy them all year long. Participants will practice making a batch of freezer jam in class. No “jam”boree is complete without food – we will also be taste-testing our freshly made jam!

All the action will take place on London Street between Church and Columbus Streets and on Main Street one block to the east and one block to the west of London Street.
