Educators are invited to attend the Growing Up Wild Workshop, an Ohio Division of Wildlife program offering hands-on environmental education resources for early learners.
Participants will receive free supplemental nature-based curriculum materials designed for children ages 3–7. The workshop includes 27 nature activities, free classroom resources, eligibility for grant opportunities, and Ohio-approved credit.
All educators are welcome, including teachers, childcare providers, and informal educators.
Learn how to collect and reuse rainwater at this hands-on Rain Barrel Workshop hosted by Pickaway Soil & Water Conservation District in partnership with the Pickaway County Park District.
Participants will learn the basics of rainwater collection and assemble a rain barrel kit to take home. Each barrel is a 50-gallon plastic drum. Dinner is included with registration, and attendees will be entered into a raffle to win a painted rain barrel.
Pre-registration is required and space is limited.
