Pizza lovers, it’s time to grab your passport and embark on a flavorful adventure with the 2025 Pickaway Pizza Trail! This exciting journey celebrates the best of Pickaway County’s pizza scene, offering locals and visitors the chance to explore and enjoy a variety of unique and delicious pies. Whether you’re a fan of classic flavors or crave something creative, this trail is sure to satisfy every slice of your pizza dreams.

Getting started is easy! Pick up your pizza passport at any participating location or at the Pickaway County Visitors Bureau (325 W. Main St., Circleville). Visit participating pizza spots, make a purchase, and collect stamps as you go. Once you’ve collected eight stamps, you’ll earn a prize for completing the trail. Just make sure to finish your passport by December 2025!

Located in Circleville’s charming downtown sits Scioto Valley Coffee, a cozy and welcoming café that has been serving the community since 2009. Founded by Julie Driesbach and now owned by her daughter, Jennifer Koenig, this specialty coffee shop has become a beloved gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. With a mission to serve quality drinks, delicious food, and heartfelt hospitality, Scioto Valley Coffee embodies the perfect blend of coffee and connection.

Jennifer’s journey with Scioto Valley Coffee began during her high school years, working in the shop her mother established. Over time, her passion for coffee grew, leading her to a career helping independent coffee shops open across the country. In 2020, when her mother was ready to pass the torch, Jennifer returned home to take over the family business. Since then, she has expanded the café’s reach, even opening a second location in Millersport in 2021.

A Space for Connection and Community

Scioto Valley Coffee isn’t just a place to grab your morning brew—it’s a cornerstone of the community. Jennifer and her team, led by manager Angie Banks, work hard to ensure every guest feels at home. The cozy dining room, complete with free Wi-Fi and a private loft for meetings or celebrations, invites guests to linger over a cup of coffee or a delicious pastry. For those on the go, the drive-thru offers a convenient way to grab their favorite drinks without missing a beat.

Jennifer’s favorite part of running Scioto Valley Coffee is the sense of community it fosters. “We have some of the most loyal customers in Pickaway County, many of whom have been visiting since the shop opened in 2009,” she shares. “We’ve seen them through life’s milestones, from graduations to weddings, and even watched their children grow up.”

A Menu for Every Taste

The café’s extensive menu features something for everyone. Coffee lovers can choose from hot, iced, or frozen espresso drinks, all made with beans roasted by Crimson Cup, a Columbus-based roaster. For non-coffee drinkers, options like hot chocolate, steamers, and frozen crèmes are just as satisfying.

Guests can also enjoy a variety of breakfast and lunch items, from oatmeal and pastries to customizable sandwiches and wraps. For those with dietary restrictions, Scioto Valley Coffee offers a range of gluten-free options. And let’s not forget the desserts—muffins, cookies, and cupcakes that perfectly complement any drink.

A New Photo-Worthy Addition

In their continued effort to connect with the community, Scioto Valley Coffee recently added a greenery wall complete with a photo spot and a sign that reads “#mysvc.” Customers are encouraged to snap photos and share their visits on social media. With plans to update the wall for each season and holiday, it’s yet another way the café brings creativity and joy to its guests.
