Take a scenic drive through the countryside and discover some of Pickaway County’s favorite farm stands, bakeries, and local makers during the Backroads Harvest Trail.

This free, self-guided agritourism event invites visitors to explore 13 participating locations across Pickaway County at their own pace. Along the trail, guests will find locally grown produce, fresh flowers, baked goods, honey, eggs, handmade products, sweet treats, and more while enjoying the area’s rural landscapes and small-town charm.

Stops are located throughout Circleville, Williamsport, Orient, Mount Sterling, New Holland, and surrounding communities, offering a unique opportunity to meet local growers and makers while supporting small businesses and agriculture. View the full list of participants here on Google Maps.

This special date-night experience invites couples to explore a series of tasting stations featuring small bites, refreshing drinks, and sweet desserts. Stroll the farm, sample seasonal flavors, and soak in the beauty of the surroundings as the evening unfolds.

Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply looking for a unique night out, this farm-inspired experience offers a memorable way to enjoy summer together.

Flower & Ice

Come visit Darby Creek Fields and Flowers on July 14 and 15 to witness their breathtaking blooms. You can get refreshments like iced coffee, iced tea, and ice cream for purchase to keep cool while you enjoy the scenery. This family-owned farm boasts over 22,000 Daylilies, 250 different Hostas, and native plant plugs. During your visit, you can stroll through the fields and pick out flowers to take home or transplant onto your own property. These blossoms are expected to bloom for over twenty-five years! Darby Creek Fields and Flowers is an excellent agri-tourism destination in Central Ohio.
