Circleville’s Pickaway County Soldiers’ Monumental Association 2025 Memorial Day Services and Parade
Memorial Day, originally known as Decoration Day, is a solemn occasion in the United States to honor and remember the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. The holiday, observed annually on the last Monday of May, began following the Civil War as a time for families and communities to decorate the graves of fallen soldiers. It has since grown into a national day of remembrance, observed across the country. Memorial Day not only marks a time for reflection but also serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made to protect the freedoms we cherish. The ceremonies, parades, and moments of silence on Memorial Day ensure that these sacrifices are never forgotten, and the valor of our fallen heroes is forever honored. Please join the Pickaway County Soldiers’ Monumental Association for this sacred and continued tradition.
Circleville and Pickaway County will honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country during the Memorial Day ceremonies and parade on Monday, May 26, 2025.
