Every Friday this summer, Ted Lewis Park in Circleville, Ohio comes alive with Friday in the Park — a free weekly community event running June 12 through July 31, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. ArtsaRound Gallery invites the community to experience the creativity of local student artists during the annual Best of Pickaway County High Schools Art Show throughout the month of April. The exhibition features artwork from students representing Teays Valley, New Hope, Westfall, Circleville, and Logan Elm High Schools, with pieces judged in multiple categories and a Best of Show award presented.
Visitors can also participate by voting for their favorite school during the show. Each vote helps determine which school takes home the traveling trophy, while funds raised help support the exhibition and student awards.
Stop by the gallery during open hours in April to celebrate the talent of Pickaway County’s next generation of artists.
Rock 4 Tots is back and bigger than ever in Circleville, Ohio! On Saturday, August 8, 2026, Tootles Pumpkin Inn and The Zwicker House at 117 E. Main Street transform into an all-day rock festival benefiting local children. Presented by The Big Wazu, Tunestone Productions, and Tootles Pumpkin Inn, this year’s lineup is headlined by Bobaflex with supporting acts including Sourblood, Liquid Sixteen, Broken Habits, 8lb Pressure, Stand Your Ground, Seize Eternity, Head West, Pettibone, Sayyadina, and many more artists.
Gates open at noon with music starting at 1 PM. Admission is free with a new, unwrapped toy donation or $10 at the door. Food and drinks available on site.

Celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary at the Backwoods Boom America 250 Celebration in Williamsport.
Hosted by The Backwoods Boom Committee and held at Ballard Park, this patriotic community celebration features live music, food trucks, historical tributes, family activities, and a spectacular pyromusical fireworks show.
The evening begins at 5 p.m. with an opening ceremony featuring the Circleville Barbershop Chorus, a flyover by the Historical Aircraft Squadron, a 21-Gun Salute presented by the Sons of the American Revolution, a flag-raising ceremony, and the unveiling of a Revolutionary War Soldier Memorial honoring America’s founding generation.
Live entertainment continues throughout the evening with performances by Direct Energy and the Travis Brown Band before the celebration concludes with the Backwoods Boom America 250 Pyromusical Fireworks Show at 10 p.m.
Guests can enjoy food trucks, vendors, family-friendly activities, and community fellowship throughout the evening. An alternate viewing area will also be available at Crown Hill Golf Club.
