Deer Creek Dam and Reservoir

The 7-story Dam holds back over 1000 acres of water and feeds that water slowly into the Scioto river just south of Circleville.
Stop by our lake office to check out taxidermy, skulls, skins, get some maps and to have your questions answered!

The tailwaters of Deer Creek Dam support a seasonal fishery for saugeye, crappies, white bass, and an occasional American eel.

The Lending Tackle Box – Located next to the lower parking lot.
DROP A LINE allows youth who visit the park and may not have fishing tackle with them to borrow from The Lending Tackle Box, enjoy fishing at the lake, and then return the fishing tackle before leaving the park.
LEND A LINE encourages those who have the extra tackle to help create memories for others by donating tackle to The Lending Tackle Box.
