National Take-A-Hike Day

Join the Park District to celebrate National Take a Hike Day with a refreshing walk in the great outdoors! As we stroll along a paved path, we’ll also take a moment to reflect on the history of this national holiday—created to encourage Americans to get outside, explore their local trails, and embrace the physical and mental health benefits of hiking.

Come enjoy the crisp fall air, scenic views, and the joy of connecting with nature and community.

The program will be canceled in the event of inclement weather. Please dress appropriately for outdoor conditions and walking on a paved surface. An adult must accompany all children under the age of 12.
