Intro to Fishing: Park Workshop
Due to popular demand, Old Canal Fishing and the Pickaway County Park District are excited to offer our fishing program again — now with separate beginner and intermediate groups!
Participants will learn fishing basics such as casting, baiting a hook, and identifying common fish species, while more experienced anglers can continue building their skills and techniques.
This hands-on program is perfect for young anglers and families looking to enjoy time outdoors by the water. Fishing poles and bait will be available, but participants are welcome to bring their own equipment.
Come cast a line and spend a fun day fishing with us!
An adult must accompany all children under the age of 12. Dress for the weather. Program may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
