After another memorable Circleville Pumpkin Show, ArtsaRound keeps the community spirit going with Friday After Dark: The Story of Rock ‘n’ Roll, a free evening at ArtsaRound Gallery in downtown Circleville.
Presented by ArtsaRound President Steve Sawyer, the program takes audiences on a musical journey through the decades, exploring the evolution of rock ‘n’ roll from its beginnings in the 1950s through the 1990s. Through a collection of live performance videos, Sawyer will highlight the musicians, sounds, and cultural changes that shaped generations, with featured artists including Procol Harum, The Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Chicago, America, the Goo Goo Dolls, and others.
Each performance will be introduced by Sawyer, with opportunities for discussion and reflection throughout the program. Videos will be shown on a screen using the gallery’s surround sound system.
More than a look back at classic music, the evening is an invitation to connect across generations. Bring family and friends, especially younger listeners who may be discovering these artists for the first time!
Free. Friday, November 6, 2026, starting at 7 PM at ArtsaRound Gallery, 135 W. Main St., Circleville. For more information about ArtsaRound and upcoming programming, visit artsaround.org.
