Butterfly Tagging Experience

Join butterfly enthusiast Ashley Hansen and the Park District for a butterfly tagging experience at the District’s new headquarters! This fun and educational event gives participants the opportunity to learn about butterflies and observe them in their natural environment.

Come enjoy this engaging hands-on activity as we explore butterfly behavior, habitat, and the importance of pollinators.

The program will take place outdoors and will be canceled in the event of inclement weather. Please dress appropriately for outdoor conditions, as we’ll be observing butterflies along both paved paths and grassy areas. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
