Special Olympics Pieing for a Purpose
Come join us for a fun-filled day of pieing some local celebrities, all for a good cause! This event is all about raising funds and awareness for the Pickaway County Special Olympics organization. Get ready to make a mess and have a blast while supporting a fantastic purpose. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to show your support and have a great time!
Please join us on Friday, August 2nd from 5-8pm during the First Friday event in Circleville. You’ll get the chance to throw a pie in the face of some pretty big local celebrities.
Sheriff Matthew Hafey
Clerk of Courts Grant Davis
Judge Shelly Harsha
OSHP Lt. Shad Caplinger
Circleville City Mayor Michelle Blanton
Commissioner Gary Scherer
PCSO Deputy Pete Bowers
PCSO Deputy Brian Arnold
PCSO Dispatcher Rebecca Justus
OSHP Lt. Tiffany Meeks
For every $10 you donate, your name will be added into a drawing for a chance to be one of the lucky people throwing pies. A few days before the event we will draw the number of names we need based on volunteers. (We may have more than the list above before it’s over.) That way you will know to be at the event. During the actual event, names that were drawn will be placed in another drawing. Special Olympics athletes attending the event will draw the names to go with each volunteer.
We will add to the volunteer list should we get more names. And will provide any further information as we get it.
During the event, we will also be selling raffle tickets for door prizes donated by local businesses, crafters, etc. Venmo and cash will be the options for this.
☆If you don’t know anything about First Friday. Parts of the Downtown Circleville streets are closed for a Roundtown Cruiser drive in, food trucks, and various other activities/events.
