Winter Birding 101

Join the Park District and volunteers Esta O’Neil and Jim Osborn for a guided winter birding hike! Explore the season’s beauty while spotting local songbirds, waterfowl, and migrating species with our knowledgeable guides.

This program is perfect for bird enthusiasts of all levels. Bring binoculars if you have them and take part in the Great Backyard Bird Count—help identify and count birds as part of a global effort to support bird conservation.

Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. An adult must accompany all children under 12. Program may be canceled due to inclement weather.
