Earth Day Celebration: Community Clean-up at Metzger Preserve

Celebrate Earth Day by giving back to your local parks! Join the Park District and community volunteers for a hands-on cleanup event to help keep our natural spaces beautiful and healthy. Participants will assist with litter pickup, trail maintenance, and other simple conservation tasks.

This family-friendly event is suitable for all ages. Gloves, trash bags, and supplies will be provided. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Join us in making a positive impact on our environment and community!

There will be a grass path to walk along, with potential for off-trail walking in the woods.

An adult must accompany all children under 12.
