- Play traditional games from early America
- Experience reenactments like the Boston Tea Party and the signing of the Declaration of Independence
These hands-on moments help kids connect with history in a meaningful and memorable way.
Make It a Full Pickaway County Experience
While campers are learning each evening, it’s the perfect opportunity to explore more of Pickaway County’s rich history during the day.
Consider adding a few stops to your visit:
- Ohio’s Small Town Museum for a glimpse into local life through the decades
- Ted Lewis Museum to discover the story of the famous entertainer and his connection to the area
- Pickaway County Historical Society to dive deeper into the county’s heritage
- A walk through downtown Circleville to take in historic architecture and local shops
Pairing Liberty Camp 250 with these experiences turns a single event into a full week of discovery for the whole family.

Each evening includes:
- A light meal to keep campers energized
