DESCRIPTION:Join the community for the 15th Annual Parkinson’s Walk for a Cure in Pickaway County\, Ohio. Held during Parkinson’s Awareness Month\, this meaningful event brings together families\, friends\, and supporters to raise awareness\, provide support for those affected by Parkinson’s disease\, and help fund research through the Parkinson’s Foundation. \nParticipants can register individually or form a team\, making this a welcoming and inclusive event for all. Registration is $25 per person and includes an event T-shirt. The morning begins with on-site registration\, followed by a recognition ceremony and a community walk. \nProceeds support the Pickaway County Community Foundation’s local Parkinson’s fund\, assisting families in the area\, while also contributing to national research efforts to find a cure. \nGather your friends\, family\, and coworkers and be part of this impactful event. DESCRIPTION:Join Pickaway Health Network for the 3rd Annual Colors of Hope\, a free community color walk and celebration focused on raising awareness and support for mental health in Pickaway County. \nThe event takes place at Mary Virginia Crites Hannan Park in Circleville and invites community members of all ages to walk together in a colorful show of support and hope. Following the walk\, guests are encouraged to stay for an after-party featuring music\, activities\, demonstrations\, and food. \nWhile participation in the event is free\, additional items will be available for purchase\, with proceeds benefiting NAMI of Southern Ohio to help expand free mental health programs and support services available to the local community. \nParticipants are encouraged to bring a towel or change of clothing\, as color powder will be used during the walk.
