DESCRIPTION:RESCHEDULED – Sunday\, May 19\, 2024 at 7 PM \nJourney through the Jazz Age as the Ted Lewis Museum revisits the heyday of Circleville’s own Ted Lewis and his Band! For the first time in over a century\, hear over 20 of his most popular Columbia recordings “Tiger Rag\,” “When My Baby Smiles at Me\,” “St. Louis Blues\,” “Alexander’s Ragtime Band” and much more recreated in this “living history” concert. With vintage instruments\, period costumes and newly transcribed original arrangements\, this musical revue is sure to transport you back a century. Nationally renowned bandleader\, clarinetist\, and entertainer Matt Tolentino leads his 10-piece jazz band. Gavin Rice\, bandleader of the Famous Collegiates in Rochester\, NY\, is special guest “trap” drummer.
