SUMMARY:17th Annual Chamber Night Golf Outing
DESCRIPTION:Experience an evening on the course during the 17th Annual Chamber Night Golf Outing hosted by the Pickaway County Chamber of Commerce on Friday\, August 7\, 2026 at Pickaway Country Club in Circleville. \nThe annual outing combines golf\, networking\, dinner\, and a unique nighttime golf experience as teams play the final nine holes after dark using glow sticks and lighted golf balls. Participants can enjoy an evening on the course while supporting the Chamber and connecting with local businesses and community members. \nRegistration begins at 4 p.m. with a shotgun start at 5 p.m. Registration includes green fees\, cart\, dinner\, and two drink tickets per participant. \nThe event takes place at Pickaway Country Club\, one of Pickaway County’s scenic golf destinations located just outside Circleville. \nRain date is scheduled for Friday\, August 14\, 2026. SUMMARY:New Holland Cops and Kids Fishing Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Spend a summer afternoon outdoors at the New Holland Cops and Kids Fishing Tournament\, a free\, family-friendly event hosted by the New Holland Police Department. \nHeld at New Holland Park\, this youth fishing tournament is designed to bring kids and local officers together for a fun and positive community experience. Whether it’s a child’s first time fishing or a favorite hobby\, this event is a great way to enjoy the outdoors in Pickaway County. \nYoung anglers will compete in age-based categories: \n\nAges 2–5\nAges 6–10\nAges 11–17\n\nPrizes will be awarded for 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place in each category. \nIn addition to fishing\, families can enjoy free snacks and drinks\, face painting\, and special visitors throughout the event. Donations will be accepted to support the department’s Christmas for Kids program in December 2026. \nNo fishing license is required\, making it easy for families to participate. \nAll children must be accompanied by a responsible adult\, and a waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian.
