DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary at the Backwoods Boom America 250 Celebration in Williamsport. \nHosted by The Backwoods Boom Committee and held at Ballard Park\, this patriotic community celebration features live music\, food trucks\, historical tributes\, family activities\, and a spectacular pyromusical fireworks show. \nThe evening begins at 5 p.m. with an opening ceremony featuring the Circleville Barbershop Chorus\, a flyover by the Historical Aircraft Squadron\, a 21-Gun Salute presented by the Sons of the American Revolution\, a flag-raising ceremony\, and the unveiling of a Revolutionary War Soldier Memorial honoring America’s founding generation. \nLive entertainment continues throughout the evening with performances by Direct Energy and the Travis Brown Band before the celebration concludes with the Backwoods Boom America 250 Pyromusical Fireworks Show at 10 p.m. \nGuests can enjoy food trucks\, vendors\, family-friendly activities\, and community fellowship throughout the evening.
