Rough rocks and crystals will be provided by the library so you can learn about the process and watch them turn from rough to smooth\, shiny\, polished rocks. However\, you may also bring your own rough rock to tumble!

DESCRIPTION:Explore behind the scenes at Deer Creek Lake with a guided Dam Tour hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This unique experience offers a look inside the dam’s operations\, including a visit to the 7-floor control tower. \nParticipants will walk down to the lowest level and stop at each floor on the way back up\, totaling 176 steps. The tour is family-friendly and designed for all ages and abilities\, with an elevator available for those who need it.
