Join Tyler Steube\, Biology Educator\, and Meghan Ellis\, County Park District Naturalist\, for a hands-on stream exploration at Metzger Preserve! \n \nParticipants will explore Deer Creek to sample and identify native fish and aquatic macroinvertebrates while learning how these species help us understand the health of our waterways. No prior experience is needed — just a sense of curiosity and a willingness to get your feet wet! \n \nThis is a great opportunity to learn about stream ecology\, discover the hidden life of our creeks\, and connect with nature right here in Pickaway County. \n \n \nThere will be a grass path to walk along\, with potential for off-trail walking in the woods. \nAn adult must accompany all children under 12. \n \nFor questions or to register please email mellis@pickawaycountyohio.gov
