DESCRIPTION:Hey there Ohio nature enthusiasts! Join us for a fun and informative event all about the fascinating amphibians that call our state home!\n\n\nJoin the Park District and Naturlist\, Meghan Ellis\, for an exciting Amphibian excursion! \nThis hands-on activity will use amphibian traps to explore the diverse species that call Pickaway County home. \nAs a Citizen Science event\, participants will help track amphibian populations\, contributing valuable data to monitor local wildlife. By recording species observations\, we can assist scientists in detecting unusual changes in populations and habitat health. \nFor questions please email: mellis@pickawaycountyohio.gov. \nProgram will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather. Please dress to be outside. There will be a long walk along to the wetland site on a relatively flat grass path. An adult must accompany all children under 12.
