The Pickaway County District Library hosts “A Visit with Chief Cornstalk” on Tuesday, September 22, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Main Library.

Gather with Chief Cornstalk, portrayed by historical interpreter Craig Hesson, for a council encouraging others to join the Shawnees’ fight against invading Virginians. Participants will meet Chief Cornstalk, learn his story, and come to understand the events that led to the Battle of Point Pleasant and Lord Dunmore’s War.
