Dear Chamber of Commerce Member:

 

The Pickaway County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that we are now accepting applications and nominations for the 2009 class of Leadership Pickaway.  Classes will be start Friday, Jan. 9 and will be held the second Friday of each month from 8am-5pm concluding July 10, 2009.

 

Leadership Pickaway was developed to enhance leadership skills already found in a professional or assist in building key skills in someone demonstrating the potential to become a leader.  The course helps identify what “type” of leader you are as well as offering self-exploration skill building sessions.  The class also offers opportunities to learn more about Pickaway County and all that it has to offer in terms of education, health care and local government. 

 

The Pickaway County Chamber of Commerce encourages our local businesses to become involved and sponsor an employee to participate in the Leadership Pickaway program.  Your business could also support the program by making a donation. 

 

This is a commitment both on the part of the employee and the employer and attendance is mandatory for the 7-month course.  There is a $500 program fee that covers all materials, travel, food and an overnight retreat at the Deer Creek Resort & Conference Center (to be held in March).
