Dear Junior Achievement Supporter:
I would like to take this opportunity to provide you with some information regarding the Junior Achievement program that is being offered to our area 3rd graders through the Pickaway County Chamber of Commerce.
I am confident that you are well aware of Junior Achievement and the invaluable services that they provide to our youth. What you may not be aware of is that our local Chamber and Junior Achievement board are committed to offering and providing all of the 3rd grade classes in Pickaway County with programs beginning as soon as February 2009. Our board is diligently working to recruit volunteers as well as donors to fund these upcoming classes.
We would like to personally extend to you an invitation to attend a Junior Achievement Open House (see enclosed flyer) to be held on Thursday, Nov. 6 at the Pickaway County Welcome Center. There you will have the chance to speak to local JA board members, volunteers, teachers and past JA students to find out first hand just how important JA is and how it has benefited the lives of our local youth.
We hope you will mark your calendar and make every effort to stop in and visit with us during this Open House even if only for a few minutes. The local board has a goal of providing JA courses to every 3rd class in Pickaway County in 2009. Won’t you please join us in reaching our goal?
Regards,
