Holiday Stress & Winter Blues Presentation

Are you feeling the effects of holiday stress and winter blues? Amy Peters, CNP will discuss what causes us to feel extra stress during the holiday season, how to prevent it, and ways to manage it. She will also discuss the causes and treatment of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). After hearing from Amy, a certified yoga instructor from the YMCA will lead participants through some chair yoga poses and relaxation techniques. Attendees will leave with the necessary tools to prevent and manage everyday stress as well as SAD.
